I have no reasonable explanation for putting this picture up except for that it's pretty funny to me. He had just had a bath and John and spiked his hair all up. :) So, this week is exciting for Martin...it is the 13th annual TN Soybean festival...held in downtown Martin. When John gets home from Freed today, we're going to go to the parade. The parade has many exciting features including the fire truck, cheerleaders, band, pageant winners, politicians throwing candy to children...and last year Dora the Explorer made an appearance. It really is fun. But, more exciting are the concerts this weekend: the Spin Doctors, 38 Special and Diamond Rio! I'm pretty excited about Diamond Rio. Anyway, I'll keep you posted on the Soybean Festival. :)

THE SOY

I love the hair
I love the spike
he is so cute
that Farberistic little tyke.

He had a bath
He looks so clean,
But more importantly
What about this little bean???

The soy, the soy
Gets celebrated for a week
The soy, the soy
Must work to stay meek.

The Soy, the soy
So many uses, so little price
The soy, the soy
Milk, tofu, or on top of rice.

The soy, the soy
As small as a dime
The soy, the soy
Unbeatable at its prime

The soy, the soy
A reason to rejoice
The soy, the soy
without doubt the bean of choice.

The hair is quite funny, but it would not be near as funny without the face. He is adorable. I just love those eat-your-heart-out blue eyes, they are beautiful.

I feel so out of the loop. I don't get the "soy" subject. I looked at this picture and I really wasn't sure if it was Aidan or not. The hair do really is quite a treat. Try doing his hair with a balloon too. Honey
